Why Camp Walden
Founded in 2011, Camp Walden aspires to provide a fun, summer experience for campers throughout the local Louisville community; Camp Walden is founded and hosted by Walden School, an independent, private K - 12 school that seeks to maximize each child's potential. At Walden, academic, cultural and religious differences are acknowledged, respected and celebrated.
In partnership with families, we foster academic and intellectual development, complemented by a focus for moral, physical and psychological growth. The school carries those same virtues into the Camp Walden program.
