Session: $130/week - NEW
June 12 - 16: 9am - 12pm
(10 years or older)

Video Game Design will give kids the tools and instruction essential to building their own games. In this class, we will be covering how to make your own landscapes—anything from the realistic to the psychedelic and kooky! Kids will also be taught how to use Google SketchUp to create and download their own objects to make their landscapes their own. And, last but not least, making their own avatar to occupy the landscape they just created!

By the end of the week, students will have the basics to create their own games, and resources to keep honing their craft in the future. We will be creating the games in the FREE platform Unity, and all other software will be free as well, which means students will be able to expand on their own time outside of camp. At the end of the week, students will be able to give us a walkthrough of the habitat they created for their avatar!
