Trickster Tales and Tongue Twisters

This camp is for kids who enjoy reading, writing and having fun with language! We will explore trickster tales from many world cultures and indigenous people groups. Trickster tales are stories that show how a smaller or weaker character (such as a spider, bunny or child) tricks a bigger or stronger character into doing their work for them.

We will read some great books each day and learn to write our own trickster tales with new or existing characters. Crafts, music and more will be utilized to enhance the stories shared each day. We will also learn new tongue twisters and play games involving these tricky phrases.
