Yoga and Mindfulness

This nurturing, playful camp weaves together movement, creativity, nature, and mindfulness to support children’s emotional well-being, confidence, and self-awareness.

The children will explore:

• Yoga games and mindful movement to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and focus

• Creative projects like mandalas and nature-inspired art

• Nature connection with outdoor activities throughout

• Sankalpa planting: planting flowers as symbols of intention and growth

• Tortoise Yoga with rescued tortoises to encourage slowing down and compassion

• Sound therapy and guided relaxation with singing bowls and gentle instruments

We teach yoga and mindfulness as a way of life—how to care for ourselves, others, and the natural world. Kids can move, create, rest, and grow: mind, body, and heart.

Ages: ~6–9. Participants should be comfortable in group activities, following simple instructions, and engaging in short guided movement, creativity, and relaxation. Respect for plants, animals, and the environment is required.
