Rock N Roll Guitar Camp
Four sessions offered: Sessions divided into Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6
GRADES 1-3: This introductory music camp is designed for younger students to explore the guitar and music in an engaging, low-pressure environment. Students learn the basic parts of the guitar, how sound is produced, and practice simple rhythm and strumming patterns. Through guided listening activities, students are introduced to a variety of musical styles and encouraged to share personal responses to music. The camp builds foundational musical understanding while fostering enjoyment and curiosity.
GRADES 4-6: This workshop-style camp introduces older elementary and middle school students to foundational guitar skills and music appreciation. Students learn proper guitar handling, basic strumming techniques, and introductory chords, and apply these skills by playing along with simple songs. The camp also includes music listening and discussion activities that explore rhythm, tempo, and musical styles. Students leave with basic guitar-playing skills and an increased understanding of music.
