Comic Book Writing

This camp session is two-weeks long. Campers must sign up for both weeks.

Learn how to craft captivating characters, design dynamic plots, and combine words with art to create your very own comic book. From superheroes to everyday adventures, the possibilities are endless. Get ready to write, draw, and create your next big story!

Young Writer’s Workshop

This Writer’s Workshop is an enrichment program designed for students in Grades 5–8 to develop creative writing skills through guided instruction and extended workshop time. Students engage in brief mini-lessons focused on narrative elements such as character development, setting, and plot, followed by structured opportunities to draft, revise, and share original writing. Emphasis is placed on creativity, voice, and idea development rather than mechanics. By the end of the workshop, students will have completed at least one original piece of creative writing and gained strategies for continued independent writing.

Little Writer’s Camp

This creative writing camp introduces students in Grades 2–4 to storytelling through imagination-based, hands-on activities. Students participate in short, interactive mini-lessons focused on characters, settings, and simple story structure, followed by guided writing, drawing, and sharing. Instruction emphasizes creativity, oral storytelling, and idea development rather than spelling or grammar accuracy. Through collaborative activities and individual writing time, students build confidence as young authors. By the end of the camp, students will have created at least one complete story or illustrated narrative and developed a positive attitude toward writing.
